More **** poor results for UKIP.

Call me Mr pessimist, but it looks like people are falling for the Blue Labour project, with the bit on noise on the EU they have made of late.

Not sure. The first result shows two seats won by independants. So why is the UKIP count so low?

Quote:
Suffolk CC Stowmarket North and Stowupland Con hold LibDems move into 2nd
Con 628 LibDEm 431 Lab 317 Green 296 UKIP 185 Ind 172
Meaning UKIP got 9.12%. Only one of the 17 wards contested in 2005 got a higher % than that. The UKIP candidate contested Stowmarket South in May 2007 so I would guess is not a resident in the County ward.

Good for them, but not for UKIP. Really, UKIP should be doing better by now.

I don't blame it on what UKIP is doing too much; I just wonder if people give a toss about freedom any more.

I think this country has failed itself.

UKIP certainly could have been 10 times better, but even as it is, if people gave a toss about freedom, it would be doing better.

People don't, so they shall get what they deserve.
