Default A Smith Stitch up?

Former treasurer and Farage apparatchik A Smith is back on the NEC.

Which may come to be extremely handy for NF, one could almost say it is an ideal result, too good to be true ( ops: )

Why? Because now UKIP has a spare treasurer waiting in the wings.

Apparently Lawson NOT happy about past accounts and the whole electoral commision thing, and now not happy about the new call centre - he sees another Ashford in the making.

So Monday's meeting, which has been called mainly at Lawson's very direct 'request' (ultimatum?) to NF could be interesting, particularly if it transpires that NF, who is dodging doing anything formal regarding the new call centre with the NEC, gets asked if he (NF) has actually signed leases on the new property on behalf of UKIP without the agreement of the NEC.

So could Lawson be for the elbow, given his new understanding of the 'intricacies' of UKIP finances? Or will he jump, in order to avoid Ashford 2? Or will he stay put, and learn to shut up and cover up, as seems to be required?

I would think he would resign if things are not how they should be in his opinion,he would be making a mistake if things are as you suggest regarding Call Centers and the past accounts.

Why would he want to work if things are actually like this?

But,more to the point, how could the new guy take over the roll if he knows all this?

Of course Lawson could state his case and stick by his guns regards finances within the party.

If Lawson goes maybe someone else will go with him.

Stitch up?
Perhaps it proves that sufficient members voted for him in a democratic vote to put him in 5th position .Perhaps they accept that those shouting loudest about probity do so from within greenhouses.

Indeed.

Smith knows Farage, that is 100% proof beyond all doubt the Nigel is rigging NEC ballots.

The UKIP Membership are entitled to transparency, anyone who has signed UKIP Party checks and monetary instruments are liable for any and all discrepencies.

Everyone knows damn well that the signing of a parties checks requires that the same are available for scrutiny by the Membership.

So what would a member have to do if they wanted to examine the books?
