Who cares if it is in conflict?

All she has to say is Blair you are a ****, I don't agree with anything you say. I have no idea why the people vote for you, mind only 1 in 5 do eh.

While I can't stand in your way Bliar, I would just like to make my subjects aware of my displeasure of your treachery.

Well of course she has free will so she can say what she likes, consitutionally she would be on very dodgy ground both personally and in terms of the institution of the monarchy itself which is supposed to be above the vile world of political debate.

I hope she does say something to let him know he's fooled no one.

By the way, have you noticed how Bliar seems to have lost his composure and confidence the last few days or so?

He is suffering.

Thank you God. 8)

Nobody knows what passes between them in private and nobdoy ever will.

Blair has indeed lost composure and confidence as he prepares to leave office, a persoanl tradgedy for him is that instead of being rembered as a great PM he faces a long and lonely future as a descridited figure just as Wilson did.

Maybe I'm in cloud-cuckoo land, but could Gordon Brown remember his father's words on a daily basis? I'm sure the good reverend would be gravely upset by all the spinning, spivving, and subterfuge of the last ten years!

Problem is if she did say it, it would never be aired in public. All her life whether she likes it or not, she has had advisers telling her what she can and cannot say in public. I've never heard of a Monarch in modern times publicly disagreeing with the Government of the day! Republicans would say "Why have them if they have no say in how the Country is governed"? My simple answer would be , they earn us more than they cost us and the Monarchy play a big part in the History of Great Britain!
A bit like Devon clotted cream on scones

All I'm hearing is excuses here for why a Queen allowed her country to be destroyed without a murmour.

She can't dive in and demand things be done differently, but she can as sure as hell make it look like she gives a ****.

I reserve the same contempt for everyone who stays quite, as Britain is plunged into an undemocratic superstate, that will end in huge pain for future generations.

The Queen has to live with the fact this all happened on her watch. She will go down as the Queen who sat back quitely, while Britain was destroyed on her watch.

Im not suprised by the pro monarchy members of UKIP, but I would like to know what the younger generation feel. I mean, the family is so out of touch with public opinion. "Ban Mcdonalds" or Princess Ann, the stuck miserable waste of space who got annoyed with a man for helping her fall.

Notice you totally ignore the tirless work HRH The Princess royal has done for charity over the years very seldom praised unlike the more photogenic late Princess of Wales who miupulated the media at every turn and then sobbed when they turned on her.

Who says she has done nothing, she has fulled all her role allows her to do, to counsel, to advice and to warn she is not permitted to do anything else. Would you have her give a party political broadcast?
