[/quote] The "unacceptable status Quo" as you put it was the result of a democratic process which was open to all UKIP Members. Democracy and progress are not about "chipping away" at things just because you don't get the result you like. Democracy supposes that the will of the majority, exercised through the ballot box, decides what progress is. By continually working to undermine the democratically appointed leadership of UKIP you prove yourselves unable to accept democracy when it doesn’t give you the answer you want. In four years time the leadership of UKIP will again be open for contest. Then is when you can say how you would do it differently. Assuming of course you are even a UKIP Member and not just a s*** stirrer!

No doubt you think road congestion is caused by "other people's cars" and that when you go on holiday the places you visit are ruined by all the (other) tourists. Why not accept the situation and move on. If you don't like it then exercise your democratic freedom to p*** off and good riddance.

On that basis, what are any of us doing fighting the EU? The will of the majority was exercised through the ballot box in 1975 when people voted in a referendum to stay in the Common Market. It's been exercised every time governments have been voted into power on manifesto commitments to stay in the EU, and at every general election since 1997 when UKIP has not even come within spitting distance of a seat at Westminster. So why don't we and UKIP all accept that democracy hasn't given us the answer we want and in tamashi's delightful turn of phrase, p*** off and good riddance?

It's because we know people were lied to in 1975. It's because we know they have been, and are being, deceived over the EU and therefore vote in ignorance. And it's because we believe that if something is wrong, millions voting for it doesn't make it right.

There, tamashi, work it out for yourself.

Exactly, the COMMON MARKET. No-one asked me if I wanted to be an EU Citizen rather than a British Subject. That’s why I oppose the EU because it has no democratic mandate at all.

It has been a tiny part of the manifesto, not a main plank. I left the Labour Party over this issue and now fight for UKIP. I don’t spend all my time on the Labour Website or message boards slagging off Tony Blair. I didn’t like their policies so I ****** off and no doubt they said good riddance to me.

Easy to say we were lied to with 32 years hindsight. Warry and Co didn’t give Farage 32 seconds as leader before the attacks started.

I stand by my comments. If you don’t like where Nigel is taking UKIP then you are free to leave. So why don’t you just do that and let the rest of us get on with fighting the EU. I’m sure Veritas would love to have all of you. I think they were the last group in UKIP who thought they knew best?

I'm sure Nigel wants the way clear to carry on leading the high life in Brussels without the inconvenience of having to be accountable to us mere members

Well sorry to spoil the party but I'm not going yet and will continue to point out how UKIP is ill served by Nigel and his cabal who have no clear strategy or tactics on what to do each day, week, month or year apart from turning up to Brussels collecting thier expenses and achieving the square route of zero.

UKIP members deserve far better from its leader.

How about, instead of this rubbish which is turning every UKIP member against you, you tell us a better candidate and beef up his campaign. If you work hard enough he should be flying by the next election.

Or you could do what everyone else does, work hard and promote UKIP then decide on our leader when he is elected.

You do it your way I'll do it mine thank you. Nigel and his cabal are ruining UKIP and if this problem isn't addressed then even the Euro elections will become a real problem for us as the Party unravels.

Yes persumably this voting tactically does not mean you would ever consider voting Lab/Con or Lib Dem

Not impossible but unlikely as I would probably simply NOT vote which is the other alternative.
