UKIP is applauding comments made by HRH Prince Charles about an EU regulation as being "lunacy":

I sent him one of Vernon Coleman's rabid anti-EU books a few years ago. And I thought it was wasted on him ...

Prince Charles should ask mummy not to keep signing things that B-Liar puts in front of her

Surely you can understand our cynicism regarding the Royals.

Course I can.

And I still have great respect for the Queen - unlike crook Blair-zhnev. It almost makes me shudder to mention both of them in the same breath.

The intervention by his HRH is very welcome.

The problem the Queen faces is that she is unable to do anything that brings her into conflict with the Governement, she can ask questions, advice, warn but at the end of the day Tony Blair or whoever runs the country will say thank you very much and now I am going to do what I said I was going to do.

The Monarchy coming into conflict with the elected governement would mean the end for the former.
