Just in case anyone missed the updated news, in the above thread, Lord Tebbit has become a patron of Better Off Out.

Watch for the attempts at distractors planted in the press smearing UKIP just before certain Lords are about to jump over to UKIP. I won't name names, but The Earl of Dartmouth is not the most recent one to have reached their tipping point over the 'Dave' and 'Steve' show.

It's only a matter of time before the sleazy smear attempts in the press won't work anymore, despite it working this last time. The embarrassment from being a member of Blue Labour and disgust at David Hilton's antics increases day by day, and will soon outweigh any other considerations for these 'sensitive' and principled peers.

Britannist has some supporters
Default Steve Hilton in charge of Cameron-Conservative strategy

Presumaby with your references to Steve and David Hilton you mean Steve Hilton the man in charge of David Cameron's strategy and PR.

Just thought I'd mention that to help any readers of this thread who might not be completely familiar with these things.

Quite right Britannist.

So who will be following Lord Tebbit I wonder? For many peers it will be a short bike ride from Better Off Out to full membership of the UKIP.
