UKIP 'sexual irregularities' next newspaper story?

So Mr Richard North knew last Friday about the pending news stories that would appear on Sundays about UKIP being investgated by OLAF

Yeah, that one is a cracker: "sexual irregularities"? I hadn't realised that sex was illegal or even irregular. Tell me, is there a Political Sex Ombundsman/Ombundswoman?

And come on! if anyone brought up anything seedy on that score, how long do you think it would take to say, "Yeo", "Major", "Prescott" (who, amongst other things, was accused of groping a Labour MP's wife in her own home), etc. etc.?

Sounds like another load of old nonsense, to me.

For the police to investigate 'sexual irregularities', those irregularities have to be very, very irregular indeed. Most things are legal, these days, and quite right too. Also, unless we are talking abvout some sort of mass orgy involving the entire NEC and a herd of goats (for instance), any investigation would be of an individual, not of the party as a whole. If the police were undertaking an investigation of an individual for something really bad, they would be unlikely to make a point of briefing Richard North about it, and if Richard North had heard about it from some other route, ie on the eurosceptic bush telegraph, then probably everyone on the forum would also know about it! So, briefly, I don't believe it.

Still, while Richard North sometimes talks nonsense, he rarely talks complete nonsense, so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what it was all about, if anything.

Hes being investigated by the EU anti fraud bunch. If i can remember some Lithuanian covited Fraudster runs that. You just could'nt make it up as Nigel says!

Perhaps the story of that "vouched for by party chairmen",upstanding member of UKIP who was in the toilets down the west country, who signed an affidavit ,given to GLW stating that he had heard someone in UKIP accusing someone else in the party of something else has been OUTED.
