Default Where does Roger Knapman fit into this debacle?

Roger Knapman was Leader of UKIP when Alan Bown gave his donations to fight the GE.

As he has been both an MP and MEP, he should have known to check that Bown was on the Electoral Register.

Didn't most of the donations go straight to SE Region?

HP, Alan Bown is hardly to be counted in with every other member.
The man gives very large amounts of money to the party very regularly, and is also an NEC member.

Hartlepool. Your offensive remarks do you no good at all.

Knapman was Leader, Bown was the major/only large donor, so he should have alerted Bown to the rules and regulations regarding large donations towards Election expenses.

Just goes to show how useless Knapman was.

So?

Are you saying that some Members are more of a Member than others because they donate the most AM?

Anyway,I was responding to Bluemer who delights in posting anything derogatory about UKIP since her boySki got hiss ass kicked in the Leadership Election.

I don't think that's fair, Bluemerle. Knapman was the leader, not the treasurer. It is the responsibility of the leader to delegate duties properly; perhaps he chose poorly in selecting the treasurer (I don't know), but I don't think it is fair to expect him to have micromanaged the party.

No, I am not, I am merely pointing out that we're not talking about some unknown - we're talking about a routine donater of large amounts of money and it's the parties legal responsibility to check that he is a UK registered voter.

What's offensive about the above post?

I asked you two questions, you declined to answer them.

You want to post against UKIP,go ahead, but don't try your nasty Tory bullying techniques on here.

You put yourself out as a UKIP supporter a while back, obviously, you were not one.

Your boySki got stuffed and rightly so,get over it,(like everyone else has).

Since when did UKIPPERS point out what the party is or isn't supposed to be responsible for on an open forum then AM?

Are you still a UKIPPER then AM,or,have you gone over like the other six did?
