I left UKIP over a year ago appaled at the way it had sqaunded an opportunty to make a real breakthrough against the tired old partys at the 2005 election.
I have no desire to rejoin UKIP, I can forsee no circumstances where I would. I have recently come to the end of a years memebership with the ED party I have no regrets about joinig it but I am moving on to a diffrent stage in my life now and feel that stage is not at this time compatiable with me being in a political party. However, the way UKIP has been in my view been hammered for what appears to be a legitimate mistake makes me sick to my stomach, this is part of a plot by the pro eu establishment to at best damage UKIP and make it appear sleazy, at worst to finish it. This pro eu establishment is a serious threat to our democracy and UKIP is one but by no means the only vessel to fight it from a non racist perspective. So despite my continued reservations about UKIP I have donated 20 pounds this afternoon. |
