As long as you are on the UK Electoral Register, it should be OK.

Donations to the Head Office don't actually have to be declared by the party unless they are over £5k. It might be useful to send your address details to the party, or to email Head Office.

(I've already had a good number of donations from bloggers through IndependenceHome.org...)

I am prepared to donate to help UKIP however having thought about it my feelings are as follows.
What is the purpose of the attack on UKIP?
Answer:
1. To discredit us in the Public eye. (This would appear to have backfired as most people I have spoken to this morning have asked how can they support us against the evil 3 and the EU? As far as I know none were UKIP).
2: By removing / commiting all UKIP's money before the local elections this will make UKIP withdraw from the elections.
With this in mind I have decided to pay for all my own election costs in the local election thus ensuring our continued presence.
My great fear of donating money to the HO now is that it could end up in Brown's pocket or a legal pocket (through no fault of UKIP) and that will not help the fight.

Well.
This is it - - the Test of Faith for UKIP's Membership.

If each of you cannot stump up an average of £20 apiece to save the Party . . .

. . . then the Party ain't worth saving.

Absolutely right. If our members are not willing to save the party then we might as well give up. My cheque for £250 is about to be posted.

Well I sent £100 & will send more if this gets to a position where UKIP has to hand over the money to Gordo.

Hopefully it won't get to that

Quite right. I have been on about this for ages. The join/donate buttons should be in big flashing lights on the front page. Not rocket science.

Yeah, it's on the Join page: the people who built the navigation are idiots.

Having said that, I haven't go the Donate button at IH.org in the sidebar yet, but you can donate through PayPal here.

I will then funnel donations to the party: had a few already, and I'll do them in reasonably sized batches.

Maybe we should put £11,ooo on the guy in Northern Ireland to win a seat on the NI Assembly. His price is 33/1 so go over in hundreds and get him elected,if he wins £363,000 will be the payout.

Seriously though,it could be thatUKIP/Bown have been fitted up.
