POLITICIAN'S ATTITUDE IS A REAL DRAG
Shari Low
THIS week's esteemed P.I.S.H. award (Politician In Smoking Hypocrisy) is puffing its way across to Nigel Farage, MEP.

He's the leader of the UK Independence Party, who admitted to being one of the ministers who ignored the European Parliament's ban on smoking within its buildings, a revolt that was so widespread that the ban was scrapped after only 43 days.

According to Farage: "I don't want to be told by PC people what I can and cannot do."

Welcome to our world, Mr Farage.

He joins the long line of elected members whose self-serving arrogance is the equivalent of sticking two fingers up at the rest of us - and his two fingers are the ones clutching a Lambert and Butler.
No mention of UKIPs policy on the issue, no mention of Farages beliefs himself on the issue.

They could have had him for willfuly ignoring EU parliament laws, but no, they try to make out he is a hypocrite.

Is there a policy for employing stupid people as reporters at the papers these days?

Hypocrisy is when you say one thing and do the opposite. Maybe I'll email the journalist in question to explain this. It's a shame to see her making an eejet of herself.

She calls Farage a hypocrite (and doesn't give a reason, or know what a hypocrite is for that matter) in the week that Blair dismisses the Road Tax petition?

By the way, I didn't know that Farage was a "minister", did you?

I have had a little go and inaugurated my own award at The Kitchen (less swearing than usual, but still a couple of incidences of Anglo-Saxon).

That reminds me, you must watch this very short YouTube video of Mr Terry Wrist and Mr Al Kyder catching a plane:
