Default UK Inependence party defends victimised Commonwealth doctors

http://www.ukip.org/ukip_news/gen12.php?t=1&id=2880
Quote:
The prospective UK Independence Party candidate for Ladywood, Lyn Nazimi-Afshar, has spoken out against the Government's implementation of the E U regulation which dictates the removal of Commonwealth Doctors alreadyworking in the UK.

"Does the Commonwealth now count for nothing" said Mrs. Afshar. "Are we being told to replace skilled Doctors who understand their patients with EU doctors who struggle to understand English?" and "How is the EU going to transport these people away?"

"UKIP believe in a system of work permits for shortfalls in areas of labour shortage and cannot accept uncontrolled immigration and in particular the current uncontrolled migration from the EU. We have an obligation to those people already employed here and to consider them before these new arrivals from the EU. This amounts to EU discrimination against the Queen's Commonwealth"

Mike Nattrass MEP the UKIP Euro MP for the West Midlands said, "Here is the same old case of the UK Government being dominated by EU Law. The only way we will ever restore democracy to run our own country again is to leave the EU. I support the Commonwealth Doctors in this issue and if they were from the former French world of colonial influence they would have EU status anyway".

"It is time we took back the power to run our country from the EU and UKIP is the only parliamentary party stating this"

NOTE
Mrs. Nazimi-Afshar stood for Ladywood at the last General Election and retained her deposit with more than 6% of the vote.
Yes, that spelling mistake in the title is on the UKIP site

My God, some news that isn't anything to do with the Tories!

Excellent work, whoever got this on there. Kudos to Mrs. Nazimi-Afshar too, for taking an interest in this very important story.
