I think its a typo. Nigel Farage said in his interview on News 24 that we are going to use the name "Independence" more.

You shouldnt worry about spliting the vote as PR means that the vote cant really be split.

There are:-

Quote:
46 DUP candidates, 38 Ulster Unionist, 37 Sinn Fein, 35 SDLP and 18 Alliance candidates.
13 UKUP candidates - which includes the party leader standing in six different constituencies - 13 Green Party, nine Conservative and six Workers Party candidates.
Make Politicians History Party is fielding the same candidate in the four Belfast constituencies, whilst the Progressive Unionist Party is running three candidates and there are two for the Socialist Party.
There are 26 independent candidates, which includes six Republican Sinn Fein candidates. They are being treated by the Electoral Office as independents, because they are not registered as a political party.

Because I think (and I don't know the mind of UKIP, of course!) that a lot of Ulster people what to vote for, and be in, a national party not a sister party.

I should have added to that quote
Quote:
There is one candidate each for the following parties: Labour, People Before Profit, Pro-capitalism, Social Environmental Alliance and UKIP.

Who do the "1 million Irish born voters of Great Britain" actually vote for, or don't they?

I don't think the UKIP candidate is suggesting anything other than people have a choice in voting. Why would it cost votes. Don't follow.......

If UKIP takes the side of the Ulster Unionists it will lose all support from the people of Irish stock here who want a United Ireland.
