Pip pip, the Devil's back with a site...

Hello, chaps; sorry for my long leave of absence. The move to London has been a little more hectic, and broadband a little longer to arrange, than I would have liked.

However, now ensconced and desirous of seeing UKIP really start to engage with the web, I have set up a delightfully unofficial but (I think) rather pretty website.

It's currently residing at http://uk-ip.ds-2.co.uk but I have a couple of domains on order and as soon as those kick in, I'll let you know the proper address.

I would be very grateful if you would pop in and give me some feedback.

I have a few other things planned (I'm looking at an RSS feed and possibly a small forum), but I thought that it would be useful -- amongst other things -- for hosting those marketing materials that we were talking about.

Do let me know what you think (and, yes, I'll get some more pictures on there soon!)...

It'll be good if you keep it up to date with news.

I would lose the ads though, unless you can filtre out Labour etc.

When you register, put the url of the site in the registration confirmation too. That way some people who come across the site, sign up, but then don't read the email straight away can go straight to the site.

For what it is worth, if anything, I preferred the style of your previous mock up. Actually I thought it was really good. I'm not keen on the colour scheme here - a stronger purple and yellow might win me over though.

Still after the website contract? What is the problem at HQ or are they designing the thing by committee and sub committee with communications being sent by carrier pidgeon?
