Let us come to the point here. Having a super-mosque built in any town in the UK, is not preserving the cultural heritage.... Simply altering it massively, or worse, replacing it altogether!

BB, should stop UKIP bashing, and start the preservation of the British way of live as a heritage for generations of British people - the denial of Ukip bashing from BB is no doubt forthcoming.

My cynical attitude towards BB is, I think justified, in that he picks his words very carefully - as is evident by his posts.

Although, most politically active people mince their words (i.e. picking them very carefully), I find that being to the point and blunt is always most productive. Eventually lies, halftruths and deceipt catch up with you...

Something that political people should be taught before they stand for election!

Oh, and before anyone starts ranting on about how I'm an "islamophobe"... I am not in fear of Islam. Not in fear at all. I despise the religion in all it's forms. Thus as a "phobia" is a fear of something and as I'm not afraid of Islam/Muslims I can't be an islamophobe.

Islam preaches that "infidels must be destoyed". It really ammuses me that we have so many fence-post up the bottom liberals in this country banging on about how people like me are islamophobes, when they haven't spent the time to research the thing they defend.

I have spent time looking at the Muslim faith - a lot of time - and I find that it is far from the "truth of God" (if you believe in that sort of thing) if for only one reason - it's founded on violence, preaches violence, and makes God out to be a very small, petty entity indeed. The very idea that God looks more favourably upon you for doing an extra prayer at stupid o'clock in the morning is preposterous! It's like going to Tescos and getting extra club card points from God. Although, points mean prizes in this day and age.

I wonder if God gives out points to people in public office that manage to **** up and lie on a big scale... if so, heaven is going to be a very crowded place.

Further to this, just because the "prophet Mohammed" tells his followers that peace is good doesn't make Islam a peaceful religion. The so-called prophet is famous in Islam for murdering an entire town of Jews because they refused to convert to Islam. How does this make Islam a peaceful religion? Bear in mind that I do not condone any violent action of another faith over this one, but when Christianity was founded Christ didn't force his views upon anyone... merely stated that anyone who wanted to listen to His words, may come and listen. He even went peacefully to the cross when arrested, tried and put to death. Most controversial was that He prayed that the people putting him to death be forgiven for their actions. Not a violent action at all. Not quite the same as the actions of Mohammed with his new found "word of god".

Oh, and a final thing before I go: In my local area, muslims have demanded that a church be torn down because it is offensive to their religion. They have also demanded that the site (where this church has stood for centuries) be re-built with a moque on it. I find that very notion offensive. The shocking affair is that no one listens to me - because I'm white and Christian... which, I suppose makes me a racist!

A VERY CYNICAL AND DEEPLY P***** OFF CHIRISTIAN, WHOS SOCIETY IS BEING UNDERMINED BY THE PEOPLE ASSIGNED TO PROTECT IT!

Local opposition is very strong, the Council are giving £18 million to the building fund and have given planning permission very quickly. One wonders whether similar support would be given to a Sikh temple or Christian church.

As in so many of the postings involving PC etc, the question springs to mind, a) what is the local UKIP branch doing about it b ) Will there be a UKIp candidate in May making noises about it ?

UKIP has a councilor there, who has been in the media on a number of occasions locally.

nickers,

Where do you live? Where are the Muslims demanding that a church be torn down and a mosque be built on its site? Post a link, please.

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe that.
