Default Is UKIP about to start getting the funding?

Here's an interesting story from the Kent On Sunday (not online in any useable form). Now, I know that this story has not been released by UKIP so it means that Mr Wheeler himself must have decided to go public with it. It may be, of course, that Mr Wheeler, the biggest political donor in history, is simply trying to put the wind up Cammy-Baby, but since he apparently rang Nigel Farage to insist on having dinner with him is mildly suggestive of rather firmer intentions from Mr Wheeler.
If the money starts flowing into UKIP,

THEN IT IS GAME ON!

Default The political parties and campaign funds for future polls

UKIP could certainly do with some money - as could the 'big' parties it seems.

I read on Teletext the other day that the europhile Scottish National Party have an incredible £976, 000 for their campaign for this May's Scottish Parliamentary and local council votes. Which works at an average of about £16, 500 per Scottish House of Commons constituency. It is disturbing that a europhile party committed to splitting Great Britain in half is managing to rake in such large amounts of money.

The 'big one' for UKIP is, of course, the next EU Election - and I am sure UKIP leader Mr. Farage is already thinking about fund-raising for that.

As things stand, the Labour, Conservative and Dim Liberal parties do not have enough money to fight the next General Election, let alone the next EU election.

Because Labour is desperately short of cash, the chances must now be very high that they may try to hold the next General Election on the same day as the next EU Election (in June 2009) - in order to save money by running two campaigns (one for the General Election and one for the EU poll) more-or-less for the price of one (by having both elections on the same day).

Deceitful Labour would also hope to 'drown out' the EU issue in a General Election campaign being held at the same time as the campaign for the next EU Election.

I'm sure describing wheeler as a "massive foreheaded ****" will help.

well, ambiguous to say the least, given that the quote is under a picture of wheeler who seems quite well endowed in the forehead department - not an accusation you could lay at Cameron's door.

And I daresay such colourful language will win the uncommitted over to UKIP's Cause.

It may do for a portion of society, for another it may turn them away.

I would like to think people base their decisions on more important criterea, but I'm sure some don't.

Hmm. Fraser Nelson, in this week's Spectator, is peddling the idea that the Tories have a plentiful war chest and aren't worried. I wonder how much of it is actually 'in the bank' rather than just pledged?
