Hi,
Edward VIII was a womaniser and a hopeless drunk - he also was alleged to be in close liason with Germany, he also made a small fortune out of the public purse, never had a real job, liked dressing up, refused to account for the fortune he had or the income he received, was an affable sociable individual with absolutely no man management skills or judgement who was surrounded by sychophants, parasites and spivs, never took advice and had a terrible temper which resulted in periods of petulent gloom.
Edward VIII had few friends but many hangers on.
I just can’t see the similarity!
