I thought Nigel did well. He did not sidestep questions and gave good answers.

He was almost tripped up by the Knapman and Bruce immigrant story but i don't think this did us any real harm. If Nigel had kept quiet it would have looked bad but Nigel quickly retalliated that it is not contradictory to our view on immigration (which i is not. there is a difference between living and working here - UKIP would like to see work permits managed and numbers restricted but not a closed door). It is a shame Nigel wasn't given a longer right to reply.

All in all i think he did well and gave a good impression. I disagree with his view about the american girl but he answered honsetly with his real opinion and didn't just say what he thought he shoud say.

Same here.

I think it's fairly east to defend the Supermarket bloke, as long as you are talking to people based in reality.

Knapman though, I find it very hard to defend.

Hmm, Nigel did well.

On the Knaman issue there was little else he could have said; I can empathise with nigel over that. Still, it doesn't make it any less of a blow.

Default UKIP must take gloves off regarding pro-EU Liberal Dims

Perhaps he (Mr. Farage) could have told the Liberal Dim party person (who brought up the Polish matter on BBC Radio Four's Any Questions) that their biggest financial donor in recent years is now in prison (having given over £2 million to the europhile Liberal Dims before the 2005 General Election); that its membership is falling and that it is on the verge of losing many of its parliamentary seats in the Commons at the next General Election.

He could have told her that she should worry about those things - not some contract Polish workers allegedly working on the property of someone who isn't even the leader of UKIP anymore.

The point could have been made that the last leader of her party (the Dim Libs) had admitted once having a drink problem - not something UKIP's last leader embarrassed his party with - and that she was just bringing up the matter of Mr. Knapman and Polish workers to divert attention away from the poor leadership of her own party (past and present) and its fanatical determination to destroy the British Pound.

UKIP needs to take the gloves off regarding the europhile Liberal Dims.
