Only a minority of Conservative party members are Libertarians.
Most Tories who join UKIP are probably old-fashioned quasi-Powellite Tories rather than libertarians.

However it's true to say that libertarian members of the Tory Party (mostly ex-FCS) are ultra anti-EU despite their 'unsound' views on immigration etc.

Conservatives, Libertarians and Nationalists working together may work well if you wish to remain a single issue presure group.
But if you wish to be a real political party you will need a distinctive ideology which is impossible to acheive with the above ideological groups in the mix.

Out of interest Matt, if UKIP didn't exist who would you be a member of? My guess would be the old fashioned rump of the Liberal Party. Is it still led by Michael Meadowcroft?

Ive suggested before that UKIP's Libertarians should take this party over they could do well.
Classical Liberal parties are quite big all around Europe.

The 'old' Liberal Party believes in a single 'World Authority,' a massive welfare state and heavily progressive taxation, which makes it a socialist party in my opinion rather than a liberal party.

I looked into them a while back and realised they are nothing like what I want.

I would probably be of no fixed abode and just vote for independent candidates, or small parties just to hit the LibLabCon.

How do you define libertarian? To me, libertarianism is the belief in a small state and the philosophy of the primary rôle of the state being to protect one from violence at the hands of others. What's so dangerous about that?

You clearly have no clue as to what libertarianism is. Go and educate yourself, before you make a total fool of yourself.
