Sound like a great Idea.

A couple of cautions though

I would suggest you run this Idea past your branch and/or your RO.
As It may conflict with plans they may have. Officially sanctioned posters would be preferable to unofficial efforts.
Even the post office poster contained a spelling error how can you avoid this?
Perhaps it would be a better Idea to volunteer your skills and time to the Party and ask them to host your checked efforts on the new website(maybe with some critique from ukip members on a closed party forum)

Are you suggesting that the grassroots are incapable of spelling?

Not at all, but I am aware that I am not perfect and have been known to make the odd error.
I was thinking more in terms of content, Imagine you come up with a really good poster on a subject that the party has unbeknown to yourselves just produced a review.
And also I assume you would like these posters to be widely distributed and contributed to, the new ukip.org site may be able to help with this.
Just suggestions and in no way meant to detract from a fantastic Idea that would be of benefit to the whole party.
Why go it alone when there could be Research, editorial and maybe even financial support available.
All I am suggesting is check it out first

Sounds good to me, but given the NECs record on killing grassroot initiatives, I don't think we should be expected to jump for joy.

If anyone wants one hosted email me

el.presidenteATtitonia.com

Replace AT with @

Attach it in an email and I'll be sure to get it hosted.

http://titonia.com/users/el.presiden...ukip_price.pdf

Here is one I made.

When the new website is open, if we have a few we could present them to the webmaster and see if he is interested in hosting any of them.

We have to ensure we use the same figures on the posters - the number of times I have seen different figures given by different people in UKIP - there should be a general agreement on the facts and figures used.

BB - I absolutely agree.
Any Branch/individual thinking of designing a poster/leaflets etc should be able to phone HQ and verify the true figures. ie - % of laws made in Brussels, Annual amount paid in by the UK into the EU,etc, etc. so ALL our leaflets are giving the same figures.
I have noted the descrepancies in figures given out on various leaflets etc. which makes UKIP look very amateurish.
I understand that the party doesn't have the financial resources to pay full time staff to research these figures, but a page on the party website
giving the most asked for figures/facts would help, but then, that's another story!!

I would imagine it is quite hard to ever come up with a solid definitive figure, even more so as it changes all the time.

However, I agree with the covert Tory, the party should stick to one set of figures. I would suggest Gerard Battens figures should be the ones used right now.
