Default Left UKIP to back an MP who, sadly, is no longer there

Bit like the rest of UKIP really.

Seeing as Nick Ferrari (who is very similar in views) isn't going to run any more, perhaps he could get him to join his campaign.
So no different from Frank Maloney, our last candidate, then
Frank Maloney left UKIP and said he was happy to support his very eurosceptic local MP - Mr. Eric Forth.

As we all know, Eric sadly died a few months ago.

What does Frank Maloney do now? His new MP is pro-EU  .

He won't want to take over the party. However, if he is told what to do too much, sparks could fly.

Give him a free reign and he'll probably be O.K.

Scrap what I said. He's talking about running the world now. He says loads of people are coming forward to ask him to be their candidate now. Including business men offering to fun a massive campaign.

I think UKIP might lose him.

The Tories have approached him now! He didn't say no either.

Looks like UKIP have jumped the gun and are going to look silly.

The British public are trying to sway him, but Whale isn't sounding good.

He's saying he doesn't know who he would vote for.

When asked to get Farage back on, he just laughed.

Non comittal doesn't describe it.

If someone has jumped the gun on the James Whale situation in the UKIP press release that is crackers.

If they hadn't released it, they would have been accused of being too slow yet again!

Some has jumped the gun. As I said on another thread about James Whale, the UKIP website is quoting the Evening Standard. Presumably whoever is posting on the website doesn't know who in UKIP to ask to get the facts and is daft enough to use the Evening Standard as a source.

Unless it is part of a diabolical plot by the UKIP management to keep us all talking about this to take our minds off the serious matter of how the new regime intends to change the Party into a well-honed fighting machine.

Surely something this sensitive would have to be cleared by Nigel (?)
