Summary of NEC Meeting 16 Oct

Thanks to John Whitaker we are finally seeing on the main website a summary of what NEC have decided

I add that as 11 NEC members, +1 co-opted (DCB) and 1 ex-officio.

On the main website it lists DCB as an ex officio NEC Member.

I thought that 12 had to be elected?

"NF outlined his position for the party's future" - When will we know what his grand plan is ?

"Steve Allison outlined his plans for local elections " - When will we know what these plans are ?

"NF emphasised importance of having candidates in place for local elections " - cart before horse, potential candidates want to know what the plan is first before being abandoned & hung out to dry as in 2005 and 2006.

Perhaps they just pre-empted a future disciplinary meeting.
