SNP website "independence"

The UKIP website ( surely the worst of any "proper" political party) still has not been told yet that UKIP is supposed to be taking local elections/local government issues seriously this time.

So out of bordom I looked at the SNP website. Its not great, but the link to "why independence" is good, & UKIP could pinch much of it , replacing some key words !

Maybe theSNP will win in May & can join with UKIP in a simultaneous refendum deal ( Scotland taking UK's place in the EU & England getting independence !)

Their dream is of "independence" - within the EU!

The reality would be as what Matt Davies calls a 'slave state' of the EU - hardly different in practice from being a Region of the EU as is happening anyway.

The SNP can afford to float the independence 'idea' because [a] they know it will never happen under current conditions as even given the vote the Soct political makeup makes it e very unlikely that the electorate will vote for it. [b] the EU likes the regions idea, it gives them a divide and rule advantage and also weakens the real stumbling block to the European superstate, the UK. Matters beyond their control the destruction of a real currency ie No UK and the voting down of the constitution France and Holland. The Europhiles have now rethought the latter problem and will rename the treaty XXXXX, avoiding the word constituion, but if it looks like a constituition, smells like a constitution , WHAT IS IT Yes a CONSTITUTION.

Finally I find quite amusing to listen to our Welsh and Scot Nat 'friends' when they praise the EU as some sort of Nationalist mantra. For it allows them to hold out the begging bowl like Ireland did, take all our money without having to say thank you to England. Who said we are independant.
