China, IIRC. It's not unexpected.
Thanks.

I think that there is only so much information that can reasonably be contained in that kind of speech before the audience's hearing closes down! Then it is issued into the media, so hopefully (?) the focuss remains on the main thrust of national policy without the distraction, the media are easily distracted when it suits them, of too many issues. Management of the media.

After that I would hope/expect the fleshing out of some more national policies and the introduction of local issues becoming more to the forein a month or so as a strategy taking us into the beginning of 2007.

Surely if it's a local council the policy is different to a national level - every local authority has their own system.

As the chances of you standing for UKIP are just about nil, you've nothing to worry about!
Fine. I guess you uber-geniuses will invent some sort of brainwave-ray that forces locals to vote for you. I can't see much else working at the moment.

Face it, if William Hague couldn't do it (and there aren't many better orators than Farage, but he's one), you ain't gonna hack it with what's presently on offer. Judge the impact of the speech here. As a clue, even Respec(t) gets a mention.

I wonder why there's nothing about the country's "4th largest party"...

The Americans call it 'being in denial.'
