Getting booted out of lodgings for being drunk and disorderly is what being a student is about. Go UKIPers and two fingers to the old curmudgeons!

Get a life you sad man.

Like you never had a few beers and made a bit of noise when you were young.

Sad bitter old man.
If 44 classes me as old you are correct, bitter and sad I am not. I had of a reputation as a bit of a party animal in my time and I can still party with the best of them.
Yes I have been out of order through having too much to drink so I understand where these lads are coming from but for responsible adults to condone and encourage this sort of behaviour is unbelievable.

I’m pretty sure they will have regretted what they had done under the influence of drink but according to some of the posts on here they should go out and do it again.

So anybody who has a different view is an old codger.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if these students were BNP members.

No not anyone just you, you miserable old git and yes 44 is ancient to somone in their 20's.

Jesus, if the worst someone does in their yoof is get a bit rowdy after a few beers, then I consider that pretty normal.

Should they be proud of it, no. Should they be condemned for it, hardly.

If they made a regular habit of it, then that's something else, but these guys were on a weekend away, at a B&B.

Many B&B's don't allow groups of young men, but the cold hard lucre of these boys was to much to resist. They decided to boot them out the next day, fine their choice, perhaps they will choose to not have groups of lads in the future. Then they can find a B&B that doesn't mind such things (of which there are many), as lots of people like to let their hair down on holiday.

Did they do any criminal damage, no.
Did they hurt people, no.
They made a bit of noise, big deal.

I just hope people wanted you hung drawn and quartered, when you ever made a racket when ****** and knowing your big gob, I bet that was pretty much all the time.

No wonder UKIP is seen as a bunch of stuffy old men with attitudes like yours.

And young to someone in their fifties

Totally agree but a bit rowdy doesn’t get you thrown out, do you not think they were warned.

Again totally agree but should they be encouraged.

Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have respect for other residents

Don’t know

Not physically no but if you were being disturbed in the middle of the night I don’t think you would appreciate it

A bit :? of a noise at four in the morning.

You obviously never read my post

Quote:
Don't get me wrong I know some of the people involved the difference is I would have told them to have a good time get p****d but keep it down.
Now telling the lads to go out have a good time and get ****** but have consideration for other people doesn’t strike me as the words of a stuffy old man, just someone with common sense.

Where have I said they shouldn’t have got ****** and had a good time my posts are about the biased that is being shown because they are Ukip members?

Hartlepools post was fair have a good time but don’t hurt anyone

Get a life you sad man
Sad bitter old man.
you miserable old git

That implies membership, surely?

I'll get back in me spacecraft and be off, shall I...?

I've been drunk in the past but never enjoyed the sensation, despite liking alcohol.

And in any case, I have utterly no sympathy for people who have no respect for others. It's time we ended the loutish 'culture' - an entire industry has grown up around it now. Imagine how much cleaner, safer and generally nicer our cities would be without drunken week-end nonsense, graffiti, 'joyriding' (in reality car theiving and destruction of property) and vandalism. What might it do to your council tax, and overall sense of wellbeing? Would you feel your children were safer in a city without those things, or with them?

Does the above make me even more alien than I feared? Or is it perhaps time we restored the balance of common sense...

I was in Blackpool last year with the lads sharing a Hotel with two Hen parties.
After drinking from 9am till 2am the things that went on there would have got people thrown out of most countrys never mind Hotels.
However the people who run places like this expect that sought of thing.

Ah yes, young people have a bit too much to drink and behave silly as a result.

In further news, scientists are baffled by a bear which defecates in the woods
