Is Petrina acting in the best interests of the party?
Am I alone in finding her missives to journalists as offensive as her pre conference resignation last year.

Why do you think she resigned? Why do you think I resigned?

She didn't start sending stuff to journalists in any case.

The problem is simple - this isn't name-calling (as the head-in-the-sand-ers seem to believe), it's about honesty and probity and overall quality of leadership at the top of UKIP. Either sort it out or waste ten years of effort, ironically including Nigel's effort too.

Shooting the messenger may be easier (many have found it so), but it's ultimately pointless.

Surely anyone personally involved in this case should desist from commenting publicly before a hearing and decision (particularly anyone representing UKIP).

You might want to address that to Mr. Denny. I'm not a UKIP member any more.

I continue to be amazed however by the selective amnesia that seems to strike so many UKIP members.
  • - You really can't comment on the shenanigans going on in the EU with all this stuff happening in UKIP,
    - You can't attack dishonesty in public office either,
    - You'll be laughed off election hustings platforms,
    - Small children will run from you crying, and former friends will cut you dead in the High St.

OK, perhaps not the last bit, but CAN'T YOU SEE THE DAMAGE being done to the cause by the people now in charge of UKIP?

Sort it out or lose the party. With 10,000 or less members you really haven't got much time (nor resources).

We were told at the business meeting the membership has been rising in the last three months.

Quite true.

Like me, it's been getting up and leaving.

I doubt there is any clear idea what the membership figure actually is, but I've no doubt there is a crisis, financial if not simply numeric, but we'll never know because the accounts are a joke too.

I repeat: fix it, or lose it completely.
