I take it that Baker remains guilty until he is allowed to clear his name?

It's arguably bad form to follow up my own post, but it has been pointed out to me that all of those left sitting out on newspaper on the wall (above), with the obvious exception of Mr. Lance-Watkins, were in fact UKIP branch chairmen.
Not strictly true, in a non-PC sense Simon. Two were Chairwomen, both of - how shall we say - mature years, and neither lady should have been left on the streets of Bermondsey on a wet tuesday!

Clearly none of Denny, Batten or Clarke are gentlemen.

I've been a keen suporter of UKIP for nigh on a decade although I see now with superb hindsight I've had the sense not to actually join the party.

I've watched the shennanigans (if that's correctly spelt), over the whole of the summer, itching to comment, although the points I would have made have been better made by other contributors.

I can't stand it any more - what a bunch of useless *- ( put whatever word in here as befits your style of language).

Never thought I'd stoop so low as to say it, but the BNP seem like a bunch of honest fluffy bunnies compared the the current UKIP leadership shower.

When are the victims of the leadership's disgraceful behaviour going to re-group & fight back?

Are any of the victims or the 'old' Lechlade group planning to launch a new party and deliberately target UKIP or Veritas members?

Let me know please, I'd be very interested.

I thought there should have been four plus Doug (he's there in case of deadlock) so they were actually two men short.
I assume the initial group of six good men and true had decided there was a case to answer in the first instance, after Doug decided there was a substantive complaint...

Would somebody tell me what Peter has been charged with and how GLW,a non member is involved;or does this involve upstanding members of good standing in toilets and affidavits passed to non members.

No-one knows what the charges are, as the proceedings themselves are supposed to remain hush-hush.

GLW was invited as a defence witness; I believe there is no restriction on defence witnesses being party members - Petrina's a lawyer, she helped draft the constitution, and was there too, so I defer to her jusdgement.

John Moran is on it and Tom Wise, but I understand it has to be endorsed by the NEC.

I gather it involves the passing on of info to those not supposed to receive it. However I gather it can be proved Peter was not involved.

A banana republic's show trail come s to mind.

Is UKIP past its best before date?
