Nice idea but a waste of time if it takes them to a page which may as well be for a different party.
Unofficial Noble policies.
Wrong colours for party material.
Wrong LOGO :?
Noble sound bites (small 'c' rubbish - what is that supposed to mean to the average voter, I would consider myself more informed and have no idea)

Also, although I agree in principle to the 'no preference, no prejudice' approach, since when have UKIP members been embracing this branding? Have any fellow members other than the Noble crowd been embracing this? I am personally happy with our no discrimination approach enshrined within our constitution. Coming out waving it about as 'no preference, no prejudice' just makes us look like the traditional three. Just saying it irritates myself, sounds like the kind of propoganda given out by the Government.

The best approach would be to link this to the national website, no matter how disorganised it is.

I seriously think that it is the case, and alot of people with substantial political experience gained over many years agree with my view. If Labour is migrating to purple (as you claim) then the pro-Labour and pro-EU BBC will surely follow it. If they (the BBC) don't have red/purple, they'll pick the shade of yellow used by the europhile Liberal Dims. The one colour the BBC is not going to use in its branding/logo is Tory blue.

Incidentally, whilst on the subject of party colours, UKIP presently uses purple. This is, in fact, the colour of undertakers and, by using it, UKIP may not be exactly sending the right message to the voters. A brighter colour/shade is needed to make the UKIP 'brand' more appealing.

Default England flag is an excellent logo

The flag of England (the St. George Flag) is an excellent logo/brand for a political party.

Purple may be an appealing colour, but 'the message' it may be giving out could well be the wrong one becaues of its funerial associations (it is the colour of undertakers). It really is time UKIP considered changing its colour scheme. As for Veritas (referred to by ED, above) - is it still going? I used to have Veritas on my list of political websites to 'call at' every day - but not any more.

Perhaps we should follow the Conservatives and have a tree, a Scots Pine, rather than an English Oak?

Edit: For those that didn't get it, I'm winding you up.

Oaks tend to atract Lib-Dem yellow ribbons... Some UKIP oriented sites associate us with oaks, or at least acorns...

Indeed, sites belonging to people who this time last year were members of the big Con, and supported David Cameron who gave his party a logo of an Oak.

Suspicious, no?
