I don't consider it tactless! UKIP are the only prominent non racist party who wish for Britain to pull out of the EU. If anyone truly wishes Britain to withdraw from the EU, then UKIP are the only way forward. Some people don't like the new leader (I admit he wasn't my choice) but he won the most votes so I intend to give him 100% backing! People who feel they can't back the leadership should leave the party (quietly!) and not bellyache on a public forum spoiling it for those who have chosen to stay!

why is the moral high ground adopted by those who stay and are compliant and those who stay and continue to argue for there position :?

If my critical position is WRONG then it will be proved to be wrong and the truth will forcr me to shut up.

Staying would be a lot easier if the new leadership whould offer a half convincing strategy for the Party to get a single MP at the next election.
