May Nigel bring peace, prosperity and purpose to this unhappy land.
May he rule forever from wherever the NEC is meeting that month. May he invent policy on the hoof, for only he knows the true path to destruction of the EU. May he bring us more MEPs in 2009 than the Tories and Labour together. May he send fire upon the camps of the Lib Dems, and succour BOO candidates wherever they lurk ... etc (I knew I couldn't write stuff for Private Eye.) |

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you But make allowance for their doubting too, If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream--and not make dreams your master, If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!" If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you; If all men count with you, but none too much, If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And--best of all--you've won the leadership election, my son! |

Far too much integrity for the "cabal" of UKIP!
UKIP's loss, too much personal talant that thankfully will now not go to waste! Butcherman proves he's a genuine top-dog & IMO will definately be back stronger & better for the experience in whatever he chooses to do to advance the cause of libertarianism, democracy & Patriotism! Oh & Computer awareness of course! |

Thanks for your good & hard work Anthony. Your kind of UKIP vision is my kind of UKIP vision and the only vision likely to lead to genuine success for the party.
I am happy that you agree that the new leader should be supported for at least 6 months - the leadership response to the results of next May's elections is likely my decider on whether to renew my membership. Prior experience suggests UKIP will not contact me before or after my membership expires. No further comment is needed. |

Hi,
I wish to express my sadness in the departure from the NEC of both Tony and Gill. These were colleagues who have great integrity and devoted much to the Party at their own cost and gained no personal or financial benefit. Tony supported my leadership campaign with tremendous committment for which I shall be eternally grateful. I wish both of them well for the future and I for one will miss them and I believe the Party is diminished by losing them. Regards Richard Suchorzewski Chairman UKIP Wales NEC member |

Today it seem clear that politics and Democracy in this Country is Lost!
The 7th Treaty less than two years away, we haven't time for New Parties. To many small anti EU Parties arguing over trivial matters "are we a pressure group or not". If we could have stuck together the public would have deceided to voted for us as a Party! I guess we will soon find out what it really feels like to lose our free speech and live in a police state!! Very Sad Tony that you have cast UKIP away we can't afford to lose members like yourself, don't think another small group will save this country, but good luck anyway. I joined this UKIP Forum as a new member on 01 Feb 2005 with Hope we could all work together and bring around the people of the UK to the lies and deceit of the EU I shall no longer use this forum if the founder does not have UKIP interest at heart anymore, it seems pointless !! Like many others i also have also work damn hard most weekends to elevate UKIP, leafleting all around Bristol, so i am not going to give up on this Party now. I'll be out there again this weekend! Good luck everyone as i am sad and depressed that the people in Britain are such a shambles. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND GOD BLESS. WK UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. GOODBYE ENGLAND AND GREAT BRITAIN. |
