Can't see any feasible alternative to UKIP.

I'll give it 2 years under Nigel to show that more is happening than just getting some UKIP MEPs back in in 2009.

If that isn't happening I pack in, and presumably will just have to try to accept we have all lost.

Not realy an alternative is it? Don't run in elections, zero presence and a name that doesn't really fit anymore.

After much searching in New Party website I find this:

"Withdrawing from the discredited EU agriculture and fishing policies will be part of a general withdrawal from the EU and the restoration of powers to the UK"

Otherwise the EU is hardly ever mentioned.

Is this a cunning tactic?

I think that is very sad for all who want the UK to be independent and democratic. I hope that Anthony will reconsider.

Well done Tony, you tried bloody hard. If this is how you feel then you've done the right thing. If I were and NEC member I might consider the same option but as an ordinary member I'm not sure my resignation would achieve anything. It would hardly be noticed among the hundred or so who disappear each week.
