I know we have had our differences in the past on the veritas forum, but I have followed your progress over the last 18 months and seen the vast amount of energy, commitment and dedication put into your cause to try and change UKIP for the better.

As usual, talent is never recognised, I wish you all the very best for the future, and congratulate you on a job well done.

I'm very sorry to hear of Anthony's decision. I feel this is a great loss.

However, I don't share the negative feelings about Nigel expressed by some here. IMHO, with all his faults, he is our greatest asset.

I really would like to see people trying harder to pull together on this.

That applies equally to those people who seem to be afraid of this forum and its bias towards free speech.

Some people have no intention of pulling anywhere other than their own direction.

You can't work with that.

To see anybody who has dedicated as much time and effort towards UKIP as Anthony has to now leave the party is very sad. I hope one day he'll have a change of mind and rejoin.

As for the rest of you, stop bellyaching and get stuck in, whether you like it or not Nigel is our leader for the next four years so you might as well get behind him!

Won't be allowed to happen. I reckon the blacklist has just been updated.

I have amended the statement, just to show how easily that can be applied elsewhere.

Wow. I thought that I would receive some flak for this, but I am genuinely touched by the kind words here. Thank you.

Was there any point in our last nec elections? Everyone is leaving.
I understand Anthonys reasons for resigning the nec but UKIP is the only way we will get out of the eu.

Don't worry, the holes will be filled with people united behind Nigels cause. This means his plan will be implemented in full and he will be able to stand by his results as totally his doing.
