It's very sensible and I am pleased that this will be the policy under Nigel's leadership.

Last night I was talking to four Tory activists in their early 40s. One was a councillor and two have been parliamentary candidates. One is Vice-Chairman of his association.

All four said they were delighted by Nigel's victory and thoroughly fed up with Cameron. Two told me they are thinking of defecting.

I told them to make direct contact with Nigel so that any potential publicity can be strategically milked.

There seems to be huge demoralisation among the Tory 'middle management', especially those who have been displaced by the 'A List' metrosexuals.

I was a little taken aback by their vehemence. We must accept though that this is in large part due to the charismatic prestige that attaches to Nigel.

I thought long and hard before voting in this election because I was impressed by Richard and felt that perhaps Nigel was taking on too much. In the end I voted for Nigel, partly out of a sense of personal loyalty to him.

I think this is going to prove the best outcome.

Agreed. UKIP with Farage can certainly stop the Tories taking the next election.

That would be much much better for the UK's eventually getting out of the EU than if the Tories win.

A Tory win and we might as well throw in the towel.

So,when do we start?

We are always waiting, waiting for this,or that,or funds, enough of waiting.

Better to do something soon, and make it big, make it loud and make it count for something.

We always, never, quite manage,to come up with the goods do we?

Oh,sorry, forgot about the 2004 EU Elections, like two and a half years ago.

Chomping at the bitt, held back, stifled and fobbed off spring easily to mind.

Waiting to see if the CONS win or lose the next election is not the way to go.

Hopefully Nigel will lead on kicking the campaign into gear within days or at least from Telford onwards.

It is quite obvious Nigel will announce plans for the new beginning at Telford, bit silly trying to start before I'd have thought.

Nigel ahs previously spoke about his desire to fight elections.

Your full slate will be very welcome and a great credit to you and the people who work with you ryansoton. I hope the central campaign will help you win some seats or at least make big progress. Please don't just let the centre take credit for themselves for your teams personal effort.

Nigel should be announcing his team now, not wait until the Conference which is another 3 weeks away. He should have prepared his team before being elected, you don't get the main parties hanging around waiting for a get together before announcing who the team is. He is wasting time.
