Thats right mkp,we must wait and see the completed NF plans, his timetable, strategy and who will be alongside him to help accomplish his dream for UKIP under his Leadership.

Monday's NECmeeting is the first of many "milestones"in his schedule of events he has planned.

Let's see what it brings.

Also, the LG has plenty of support both in UKIP and the NEC lets find out after mondays NEC meeting how the table was set and who got the gruel and not the lobster eh?

From what I heard of Gill Chants experience of the NEC, I am not a bit surprised she threw in the towel. If it had been me, I wouldn't have put up with the way Farage behaved either.

Seems like some of us are more informed than others when it comes to what takes place within the meetings of the NEC.

I have none of the NEC feedback to guide me on the answers I give or questions I ask when posting on this Forum, therefore,I'm at a disadvantage to some out there I would say.

Perhaps thats why a few prefer me not to post sometimes eh? ops:

That is certainly not the case. If only you knew what really goes on behind the scenes you would never make that kind of dismissive statement.

Those of us who are on the inside already know what Nigel and others are like in terms of management skills, professionalism etc. We don't need the time to judge. Gill has decided that she cannot offer anything positive to the party under a Farage leadership and has chosen to remove herself from the firing line. Would you rather she stayed on for four more years of constant arguing with the leadership?
.
Well Anthony, the above says it all. At least Gill has done the decent thing and resigned. You are admitting that you are prejudiced and obviously will be negative from the word go. Well tough, Nigel was democratically elected. It is for all the NEC to work with him to acheive UKIP's aims.

Thye NEC is similar to the Cabinet and has Collective Responsibility (including financial). It is not right for you to criticise the leader on this public site while remaining on the NEC

Like I said, lets wait and see who gets the gruel and who gets the lobster at Mondays NEC Meeting,we dont want to guess do we?

Or make predictions even.

NF will do what NF wants to do,you nor I or anyone else are in a position to stop him.

Losing an NEC Member so soon, before the whistle even blew does not help anyone either, does it?

Nikki you have absolutely no idea what Anthony is going to do, he might have resigned for all we know but not yet announced it.

All i can see from his post was he was trying to explain that Jill had some previous experience working with Nigel and found she couldn't work with him, happens every day in the business world.

From the constitution:
Quote:
7.6 The NEC shall normally comprise of 12 members elected to the NEC, the Party Leader and Party Chairman (who may be elected members), together with two members who shall be selected in accordance with rules to be made by the NEC from time to time from among the Party’s elected representatives who receive in respect of their elected position emoluments commensurate with full-time employment. The NEC may determine that there may be ex-officio members. Ex-officio members shall not have a vote.
From a practical perspective, we're due to lose some NEC members anyway, to reduce numbers as per the new constitution (There are 18 photos on the NEC page of ukip.org at the moment). I have been expecting the announcement to be in place by conference...
