“That is the only assessment we we can make after the revelations in the Guardian that the infamous guess of 13,000 likely immigrants from Eastern Europe after EU enlargement partly came from a 'dodgy dossier'”, said Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party MEPs.
The discovery, reported by today's Guardian that the Government had borrowed some made up figures from a German study commissioned by the EU was discovered by a UKIP staffer in Brussels.
“It shows that over a vital area of national interest, immigration to our country, the government has acted not with incompetence but with breathtaking deceit”, he continued.
The authors of the report have admitted that their methodology was utterly wrong. The only other research commissioned by the government at the time was compiled by a group of junior academics attached to the EU funded Centre for Economic Policy Research led by Christian Dustman.
Farage continued “This utterly destroys the credibility of the Government over Eastern European immigration, how can we now trust them over Romania and Bulgaria? The Dustman report should have been thrown in the bin.
“The UK Independence Party's opposition to the last enlargement, due to concerns at the level of immigration has now been shown to be factually accurate. At the time there was not a single murmur of dissent from the Tories, any noise now is synthetic rage for a headline”.

Everything to do with the government of this country is covered in deceit now.
From war through to wheelie bins. The EU is involved in a lot of it, but it's more than the EU. It's the traitors in our midst trying to implement a global agenda.
Well done to Gawain again.
