Pretty balanced and lengthy account of the leadership election and the future for UKIP generally - certainly by BBC standards.

Clip from each of the 4 candidates, then various BBC correspondents, and others made inputs.

Had a a token "young person" on who said that she was in favour of "Europe" (lived with an Italian and might want to live in Italy), but she acknowledged that she knew little about UKIP arguments and would be studying them further on the UKIP website which she had been looking at the night before in preparation for the programme!

Spectacular errors from europhile Anthony Howard as usual (spoke of RKS as having been leader of UKIP).

UKIP role in disturbing the EU Parliament was discussed.

No calls from listeners included.

Thanks SponPlague I would have missed, not a 5 Live listener.

Heard the full programme and on our Candidates broadcast pre-recorded transmissions I would rate

1.Nigel, 2. David CB 3. Richard and 4. David N.

I was surprised at some of the 'professional' commentators inaccuracies ie when we voted to go into the EU in 1975 and incorrect terminology.

UKIP portrayed strongly as single issue party with only the first reporter mentioning UKIP have other policies but in the main I feel we came out just OK, nothing stronger than that.

No provision for listeners comments although they were invited. (unless they happen from now on and I am no longer around).

Not just the term "EU" Colin: It was a vote to stay in!

Credit where due, though - this was posted on UKIP.ORG today, and we all read that daily, don't we

I thought that was what I heard also, but felt it was me, as in 'no, he didn't say that did he? Pay more attention and stop working !'

I gave up some time ago because it was so out of date. I will now try harder

I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I heard Richard ranting about immigration and the possibility of fighting on the streets.

I wasn't that impressed either, even if I think there is a chance he might be right.

I'm glad you think the same. That sort of language doesn't help UKIP.

Should we all vote for David Noakes because he insists we're in a Police State then? Do you think it sensible to scare the horses? Do you think it sensible to say things that could actually incite fighting?
