Default David Noakes complaint

I have presented this here because it is in the public domain now, courtesty of one Greg Lance-Watkins, and has already been sent to several journalists by the look of it:
Quote:
Dear Geoffrey,

In the light of Nigel Farage's comments on Radio 4 about expelling UKIP members who have BNP connections, I ask you to please take some action over his staff who are accusing Richard Suchorzewski of BNP links.

I understand you are aware of at least one signed and authenticated witness statement being held pending the opening of a formal and transparent inquiry, may I please ask for that inquiry to ensure that a fair and just leadership election is seen to be held.

Nigel has taken no action to restrain his own staff, which suggests he approves.

It seems Richard is the subject of this apparently orchestrated defamation, or is being set up for expulsion, and this needs to be stopped; if evidence is presented by Farage or his staff that Richard has these links, then surely Richard should be asked to withdraw his candidacy; and if there is no such evidence , I feel sure that the inquiry will demand the same from Nigel Farage.

Justice must always be seen to be done, and the election is already on weaker ground due to the abuse of his status by Nigel’s associate, David Lott, the comments of Party Officers both in the Press Office and in the Party Secretary’s public comments.

The Bromley launch of Farage’s leadership bid enabled him to publish his name in the party by spending around £100,000 to get less votes (2347) than I got (2736) at the General Election (only UKIP SW gave me a less generous £0). Note Nigel is able to decide what is spent and who stood at Bromley without consulting the membership.

Now the ballots have come out with Independence News as Farage/Bromley promotional material. Some are already saying the election is open to legal challenge.

Geoffrey I am asking you please, to act now to restore faith in this election.

Many thanks

David Noakes.

So should we sack the UKIP member whose nomination paper was proposed by a BNP member?

Should the UKIP MEP who has joined a campaign supported by a BNP member be sacked?

His name is one Nigel Farage - Better Off Out Campaign supported by BNP member!

Me! Ind-uk is members only - there's a difference, and I respect that - plus Richard gave permission for the posting...

If it ends up in the public domain, then yes. If not, then no. I only included this one because it has already been issued to journalists and several hundred people, including both members and non-members.

It would be easier to give all the leadership contenders boxing gloves to slug it out!

If only David Noakes had stood in Bromley with £100,000 to spend we'd have had UKIP's first MP.

We should learn from the LibDems campaign - plenty of residents surveys etc...

Oh great, he thinks that in a by-election people are going to vote based on campaigns on the 'EU police state' and 'Common Purpose', which completely ignore every issue that the average voter perceives to be important.

Doesn't he realise the two aren't comparable?

Other parties were allowed to spend up to £100k in Bromley.
Bromley is a less promising seat.
Lower turnout at by-elections.
Bromley was a tight race between Conservatives and Lib Dems
Etc etc.

His substantive point may be right but there's no need for his gross statistical distortion.

There does appear to be a concert party at work here with similar complaints by David Noakes and Richardski, such complaints being fuelled by someone outside the party.
Is the £100k mentioned in connection with the Bromley bye-election the amount confirmed and submitted as the actual expenses or a guess by him.Did he find this out whilst campaigning in Bromley ,IF he was there?
