Matt you are too sensitive.Better I question here than on one of Anthony's other sites like www.conservativeforum.co.uk.
You must realise that when new members of our dysfunctional NEC impugn the integrity of professional members working tirelessly and voluntarily for the benefit of the party they also by implication impugn others of similar professional standing.I myself was phoned at home on a friday evening by a member of the new NEC cabal questioning my position in the party and my connection to the Treasurer. This person I have since learnt has a rather close connection to an employee of the party.
When people play the probity card as Richard has he must expect those insulted by his cabal to ask questions about his affairs, which are somewhat opaque.

Ignoring my request isn't really the best option. You can discuss this to your hearts request in an appropriate thread, IE not this one.

Final warning.

I can see that pushing an anti EU message on a couple of web based forums is far more serious than, say, MEP's committing and admitting fraud, Leaders employing immigrant workers, loosing 85% of the income of a call centre, employed members libelling leadership candidates and so on.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the party secretary thinks he can criticise in a public forum the way an elected NEC member chose to carry out what he saw as his duties (especially when the activity wasn't in the public domain)?

I'm not concerned here with who he's criticising, just with the general principle.

Yes, I agree with the general principle that it is odd.

Its brilliant that a leading UKIP member is running unofficial Tory & Lib dem web sites......... at least someone has not had his imaginative ideas crushed out of him. " Infiltration" has to be one of UKIP's key strategies.

He probably does you know, just in the reverse direction.

strange how the moderators on this site are anything but...moderate. Its plain to see that if anyone has an issue with DCB/DN/ and in paticular Nigel , then the moderators (Some more than others- C steam and Anthony Butcher) are criticising left, right and centre, and they are fair game to allow any accusations be levelled against them Yet anyone dare criticise Richard, its suddenly how dare anyone accuse Richard of anything. How one sided this forum has become.

I thought forums were for an expression of ideas, and views. Unfortunately you can only have a view welcomed if it supporting Richard. I understand you have a view Anthony Butcher, but whole-hearted bias??!!

Not true. either point of view can and is placed (lewkip, Mike McGough etc)

However, the line is drawn - as is usual - with things that are blatantly untrue or libellous, and where something is off topic.

correct. but not unfounded accusations or libel.

So, we try to be fair and if not, there is a 'complaints' section or you can PM the mods. In the end though, as with all things, if you do not like what you are part of, you have the right to take your custom elsewhere.
