Jim,

Being distributed in an envelope within the Independant News, hence the concerns being expressed on several threads on this site as to why the Indy is late in being distributed, I'm not actually sure that the Indy is late but it usually is.

They were supposed to have arrived by the 7th. They haven't. Have they been sent. Who knows. You may get a response from our (erstwhile or not as the case may be) party secretary but he's probably too busy insulting and sending wild accusations to people. Or our Chief Press Officer and Editor of Independence News may know. But he'll probably just accuse me of being associated with the BNP or a dangerous plant or something just for posting this.

The wife and I got ours today. They are in a big white envelope, bundled with Independence News.

Looks very above board and fair (the pack that is, Independence news it the DCB and Nigel fanfest we all expected).

Mine arrived today too. My wife is semi-interested in UKIP (ie, she wouldn't bother if she weren't married to me). She read each leaflet through and was convinced that the two 'best' presentations were DCB and Richard, in that order.

Can't say any more than that...secrecy of the ballot box.

But is anyone else as unimpressed as I am with Farage's leaflet? Noakes' is appalling, but then we expected as much, didn't we?

Farages was very poor. Amateurish infact.

I agree DCB and Richards were the best, but as I am convinced DCB is just a Farage placeman, his poor perfomance as chairman so far and his weak presenting skills (funnily enough much better on radio) that rule him out.

I am still quite a bit in shock at Nigels. It's almost like he doesn't want to win!

Independence News made sure DCB and Farage got some heavy coverage though.

He doesn't, really. Threw his hand in as he thought he had to, and was pushed a bit. Has actually stated he doesn't want to be leader, and will put someone else in to run the party.

I can't work it out why he is still standing.

I am told (post takes longer to reach me in Germany) that Richard's masthead is in b/w, unlike the version on his website, but the others have colour leaflets. Is this true?

It's weird, the photo of Richard is still colour, but the back ground has been faded to black and white (including all the photo's of other people supporting him).
