I do not hob-nob with David socially, and we do not exchange Christmas cards. Any contact with him has been restricted to UKIP business, and he has been, in the past, entitled to my email as a party official. Where I have corresponded with him, by phone or email, in the past, it has equally been on party business (e.g. offering £3K for address --> postcode s/w) Mailshotting me with a "Vote Nigel" spiel is definitely NOT party business. My complaint stands, I'm afraid... Quote:

Just to level the playing field, I received a letter dated 4 August from Stephen Povey, Chairman of West Midlands Regional Committee, urging me to vote and stating that in his opinion, and that of the entire committee, Richard Suchozewski (sp?) was the best candidate. He managed to get Richard's name into the letter 4 times!
I'm disappointed that, in my role as election agent, I haven't received an email or letter from David Lott, despite my being in contact with him during GE2005. However, my candidate got one, so that's OK. 8) |

I cannot recall ever receiving an e-mail from David Lott prior to the two e-mails both dated 7 August timed 22.04 and 23.14 promoting Nigel for Leadership. |

I too have recieved an email of this nature touting mister-f. It stinks. I sent back an email stating that a local event had been cancelled because it had Richard as a speaker, since the other candidates weren't invited, it has been deemed illegal.
Now I get spam (With in itself is illegal in a way) from a candidate which I don't support, and who has a history of borderline legal dirty tricks in iternal elections. What can I do about this?
