Farage not attending Exeter hustings!!! [Yes he is

I have had a message to say that Nigel Farage will not be at the Exeter hustings on Sunday 30th.

I think it is disgraceful that he refuses to attend these hustings so people can ask questions and hear what his plans for UKIP are.

What is he afraid of? :evil:

He should step down if he cannot be bothered to meet the members.

This is false. Having spoken to him a few minutes ago I confirm that he will be both at London on Saturday and Exeter on Sunday.

I just can't believe he will miss any more. He has already done himself massive harm by not bothering with the first 4.

I hope more members turn up this weekend than at the Chelmsford Hustings.There were less members present than regular participants on this forum .If you exclude two MEPs,one MEP's wife,regional organiser,political advisor and the former Treasurer the foot soldier count was pathetic.

The traffic from the west was awful. I had to turn back, and went up to Cannock the next day instead. At Cannock I would say there were a few more than 100 fwiw.

Makes you wonder what our real membership levels have fallen to. I mean active members, not ones taht just happen to still be members, because they can't be arsed to quit.

Please do not worry about Mick McGough's report of poor attendance at the Chelmsford Hustings. The Eastern Counties activists are extremely keen and 'active'. At the last Activists meeting at Newmarket earlier this year, organised by Brian Lee and Myself, over 60 Party members attended. Our footsoldiers are in very good heart.
