UKIP Teenagers Wanted!

They are planning a show where eight teenagers live in a house in Devon for six weeks and try to live as adults - getting a job, cooking, cleaning, etc. In particular, they are looking for teenagers with political knowledge and an interest in the United Kingdom.

They have now told me they want someone for the summer holidays and it's only 5 weeks.

I smell a rat. They will have teenagers from each political persuasion, and as extreme as possible and see what happens.

It's big brother with acne cream.

Don't touch - for goodness sake this is channel four we're talking about!

They will edit it to make certain people look likes scum too.

If we do have a teenager willing to do this, they will have to be a master at presenting themselves.

This one should be avoided. It could show the party in a very negative light indeed.

We shouldn't be going in for gimmicky rubbish like this anyway.

Oh ye of little faith !! IF we are able to produce from somewhere a likeable, confident, articulate teenager who is well briefed before the programme - why not? What a coup if we did provide one. Come on guys - be positive. Everything is a challenge, this is just one of many. I have an idea who could do the business although I wouldn't want to name him; a) he may not (just) be eligible by virtue of age and b) he may not want to do it. But he could not make a worst fist of it than that provided by John Whittaker when interviewed on 'TODAY' by John Humphs during the general election. Should you accept this mission :wink: whoever appears MUST be briefed in depth in presentation techniques before stepping up to the plate. If we can't beat a challenge like this, we ain't worth voting for. ...and imagine the thoughts of anyone coming to the Forum with the intention of joining UKIP and finding your NEGATORY approach in this thread.
