I wouldn't believe everything you read in Private Eye. Was it you or the other guy who was previously treating Wikipedia as gospel?

However if you want to produce this kind of stuff as 'evidence' it surely wouldn't break the bank to buy a copy.
1. I certainly don't believe everything I read in any printed document until I have satisfied myself to a reasonable degree that it is reliable. As evidence of this I put forward my very first post on this thread where I pointed out that the Qana photographs were probably from a biased source. Certainly Richard North's analysis of those & other's seem to bear out my propaganda suspicions.

2. It was the 'other guy' (who was Keith Hands - & if you can't be bothered to check up on that & get it right, who's going to believe what else you have to say) who you are accusing of treating Wikipedia as gospel. I made no comment about Wikipedia at all. But I will now. My limited experience in using it on a couple of subjects was not wholly satisfactory. In my experience, the contributors to the specific items that I was interested in had got most of the facts like times, dates, places etc. correct but when they came to analyse people's actions I felt they had repeated previous writers views which could have had, imo, many different interpretations.
I have no knowledge of Keith's claims that Wikipedia claims are vetted so I cannot comment on that issue.

3. Yet again, you are making a completely wrong interpretation as to my motives. I certainly didn't read Private Eye to find 'evidence' to use against you or anybody else - anyway this was published a week ago - long before the latest Rifkind article came out.

4. My motives in the last post were meant to be a polite, (not sarcastic or friendly), attempt from preventing you from picking dodgy support for your views as I considered you did last time, & which triggered these spats.

You don't seem to learn by your mistakes do you?

P.S. In the end I spent over twice as much on 'The Economist' which had much more unbiased analysis of not only the Israel / Lebanon conflict but much else instead.

PPS Thanks for the link Matt

Sticking your neck out there – you know nothing of any of my educational qualifications – perhaps I’ve used many, many longer words than you. But I’ll take pity on you and not chop, (& I think I could), because I repeat I am trying hard to be unbiased in the blame culture here.
And you know nothing of mine, yet you chose to insult me. If you don't like sharp rejoinders then don't insult me.

As for the rest of your responses, utter drivel – you may have read my responses but you clearly haven’t understood them
Seems you've lost this debate sonny, that's why you have resorted to personal insults.

PS UKpatriot - two quite big words in that last sentence and both together!
I hope you're proud of that achievement.

Well your main motive appears to be to support Israel. I have no idea whether you are trying to be sarcastic but it would hardly bother me as I'm sarcastic all the time.

BTW I just heard that moron Bush say how pleased he was that Blair had 'busted' today's terror plan.

Personally, I'd like to bust Bush's 'ass'.

I hear that a recent poll has shown that Bush is even more unpopular than Hitler and Bin Laden.

What a ridiculous statement. These posts are handed out to PC brown-nosers these days - just the same as senior police posts.

Take that ghastly PC scumbag General 'Sir' Mike Jackson. He's the kind of pinko creep who would have ended up polishing the boots of an earlier generation of soldiers.

Do you suppose that any decent serviceman who opposed this government's nefarious plans to fill the ranks of our once-proud armed services with dainty females and screaming queens would get a look in these days?

Good to see some commonsense from Sir Malcolm Rifkind.

Former Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind has written for this week's Spectator (not yet online) and urged the Conservative Party to split with Tony Blair on three foreign policy fronts:

"There must be a clear recognition that the invasion of Iraq was a serious mistake that has helped the terrorists. It has also made Iran the power in the Gulf. While the government may be in denial, there is no need for the Conservative party to be. That does not mean, however, that British troops should be withdrawn from Iraq. It is essential that they remain there as long as their presence might help the Iraqis."

"Conservatives should not accept Blair’s simplistic belief that all Muslim terrorism is part of a single plot. Conservatives are rightly suspicious of a Manichaean division of the world into good and bad; terrorist and freedom-loving. The war in Chechnya, for example, is between Chechen nationalists and Russian nationalists, not between terror and freedom. The same applies to Kashmir. The Israeli–Palestinian issue is also much more than a battle against Hamas and Hezbollah terrorism."

"Conservatives should reject a philosophy of pre-emptive wars (or, as Blair prefers to call it, liberal interventionism) fought by ‘coalitions of the willing’."

Mike would that be the position of the Waffen SS or just your own personal view?

Well hello Adrian.

You'd been gone so long I wondered whether you were yet another one lying low in mortal fear of bombs in brown envelopes.

Sadly it appears not.

Ah yes. The customary Wainer racist charm.

I should imagine you have more to fear from that beat-up banger of a BMW that you vainly suppose to be a chickmagnet.

Next time I see a geeky pile of scrap metal replete with fluffy dice and go-faster stripes whizz past at 25 mph I'll remember to give you a friendly wave.

For an up-to-date, short video sequence of blatant fraudulent and staged photos of the current conflict in The Lebanon, try this:

And keep up-to-date with more and more exposures of journalistic complicity with Hezbollah 'fauxtography' on Richard North's eureferendum blogspot:
