Over the last few days this has appeared on Nigels site. You'll notice the typeface is a brighter colour, but I find it interesting that this has been added, almost as if it is an afterthought. I agree with a lot of what it says, except it's conclusion. Sorry Nigel, but you fumbled the ball by only adding this as an afterthought. It is clear that you still can't refocus on issues other than the EU. You are excellent getting stuck in at the clown parliament and this is what you should stay focused on. If you really believe in what you have written in this new section, I believe you should stand down and allow Richarski to take over the leadership role. He has already stated you will be welcome to continue what you are good at. Indeed, you will be able to conentrate on that side of things more than ever.

A vote for Nigel means a vote for an unknown spokesperson in the UK. There is no guarantee that you will get DCB, and John Moran has been mentioned as NFs running mate! |

This adds some more evidence that the Farage camp is panicking. Why add a domestic agenda after the launch? Because Richard is getting so much support from the activists at the meetings he is attending.
Nigel could very well lose this leadership election. |

Today's hustings gave no clue as to the potential winner and with Farage not in attendance one could only rate the three attendees .IMO they are
1)DCB 2)Richardski 3)d Noakes on content ,with Richardski coming top on animation/gesticulation. Whilst I knew that DCB was a fairly recent convert from Tory never never land I hadn't realised that Richardski was such a new boyo on the block.I am amazed that he was still a Tory supporter at the time of our success in the 2004 Euro elections.I wonder why he is such a late convert to the cause we all espouse? |

He left the Tory Party because they wouldn't talk about the EU.
Look at his website. http://www.richard4leader.co.uk/ |

I also joined just after the 2004 elections - it was the first time that I even considered looking at UKIP. The only thing that matters is what the candidates offer in the future. |

"UKIP was virtually unheard of before the 2004 elections"
With three MEPs prior to 2004 how can you possibly say it was virtually unheard of?Maybe in the Mendips or the Valleys but certainly not elsewhere. I am not judging people by when they joined the party but we have had little time to judge Richardski----I have seen him only twice, and only in this past week.DCB has been treading the boards for months and I have now seen him many times.Unlike a very few of the NEC they both impressed me with their social skills at last weeks post NEC drinks event. |

Richard's point is that his policymaking won't be done top down - and therefore he doesn't want to dictate what all the policies should be. |

I wonder which of the four candidates is getting the most website hits.
It may not matter much because I suspect the overwhelming majority of members who vote (in the UKIP leadership contest) haven't looked at the websites of the candidates and don't intend to (or don't have access). |
