Giraffes like a gentle ribbing, however sex with giraffes is frowned upon in some countries - I think there is an EU Directive about it.

It wouldn’t look good if the new leader insisted on holding all NEC Meetings at zoos or safari parks - I don’t think it would give the right impression.

I don't think any candidate's marital status is relevent. I agree with Anthony about the adultery bit. I don't trust leaders who get up to that sort of thing. 'Major's sleazy Government' What was Major doing with Currie? Is it any wonder he couldn't deal with the sleaze effectively when people knew what he was up to?

It's secret adultery mind, if someone was in one of those open marriages, and was up front about it, that's a diff matter. It's the secrecy that is the main problem. Openness to corruption via threats of exposure.

I find it rich to hear we will have to get on after the leadership election.
This party has been badly led by a Cabal of self servers for years, who show contempt for the rank and file members. Dirty tricks seem to be the UKIP leadership building materials. The ordinary Ukip members are sick of our leaders, we want change. If there is snarling and snapping it is because the quiet words have been trodden down. Things will get harder for the cabal until they allow democracy. This is more than a mere Leadership election.

Nail on the head Oliver. Glad to see some people still see what this is all about.

As far as I am aware, there are no dirty tricks from DCB. Richard has the Lib Dem type misleading statement that it is a 2 horse race. amd he is responsible for the material on his site. The buck cannot stop at Anthony, who wrote it, it stops with Richard who allowed it on his site, in pride of place.

I suggest you purchase some glasses then, or get a few weeks of being in the party under your belt.

Trust me, it helps.

Please provide the evidence here that DCB has employed dirty tricks, Matt.

If you do not, I will conclude that you are a person who bangs on about the importance of truth, but is happy to lie and lie and lie and spread rumours.

LoL

If we wake up in the morning and Iain Dale is running a story about Ukippers partaking in naughty behaviour with giraffes, then I can only apologise.

Guilty your honour - not for doing it with giraffes but raising the whole idea - surely that's the behaviour of Tories?

I suggest you ask his "new" best friend and choice for chairman. Of course he might feed to a load of horse *****, going on past experience.
