And in those previous visits up north how many times were they questioned about their ambitions for the party, their leadership qualities, their political phiosophy etc? None. The hustings are important. It isn't about expecting a pat on the back, it is about enabling the members in the North (or their representatives) to actively probe them on the future of the party.

I don't know. Why don't you ask him?

I thought that a moment ago you didn't know what campaigns Richard has run in Wales, yet now you are attacking him for doing nothing. So which is it? Either you don't know and you are just making it up to attack Richard, or you do know and you are deliberately feigning ignorance to try to embarrass him. Either way I don't think that your statement is honest.

Yes, you need the 150 votes in the north east.
I see you believe that the North is of no importance to UKIP then?
And your answer was?

But I can understand you not answering - on one hand you state that the NE is unimportant as there are only "150" votes, on the other you imply they have been there many times ("The amount of times they have visited the North").

so which is it - North important - or not?

And if important - why not attend the hustings?

Err, Bahlambs, I don't think Nigel will appreciate you drawing attention to his track record in the NE and Yorkshire... The only pat Nigel is likely to encounter north of Watford Gap is of the bovine variety, and probably not on the back  .

BTW, did they ever get their regional committees back after Nigel disbanded them unilaterally before the Euro-elections?

Why don't you put the question to them? I think you could be seen as an interested party and it would be interesting to see what repsonses you get.
