Hmm, whenever a troll starts attacking Farage, I start thinking maybe he isn't so bad...

But wait! Maybe that's what Resigned Member WANTS me to think!

These are deep waters, Holmes. :?

Depends what isbeing implied by the name "Resigned Member" doesn't it?

Is it someone who has resigned from UKIP?
Is it someone who is a member of UKIP and is resigned to the variances of opinion on policy within it?

We should be told ...

Just a small general point. Take a skilled jockey, put him on a donkey then ask him to run in the Grand National.

Would you blame him for not winning?

Just for the sake of clarity - who exactly are you insulting?

There was no requirement that he should actually win the race.

Therefore, you can not blame the jockey for not winning the race.

Nor can you blame the Donkey,it was your choice to use it in the race.

Thank you. I was trying to establish who the donkey was in your analogy.

No-one. I was seeking to highlight that it is pointless to lay the blame at the candidate's door to the person who was seeking to blame it all on Nigel.

I would need to know whether the jockey had any choice in the matter.

If he was contractually obliged to ride the donkey clearly it would not be the jockey's fault. If he chose to ride a donkey it would be his own fault. :?

Also were any incentives given to some of the donkeys but not to others, were some donkeys persuaded to start by a carrot on a stick and some were not :?:
