Inclusive, yes, of those who have similar goals and who hold similar values.
Similar to yours you mean?

Well looking round the SE conference and talking to a fair few of the members including old friends such as Nigel Farage and Chris Gill, I reckon you're the one who's out on a limb.

Looked pretty much like a cross-section of 'Middle England' to me apart from some guy with a pony tail and someone who looked like a hippie version of Santa Claus (you?)

Average age 60+ (someone had a heart attack during Batten's speech - hopefully unconnected), ethnic content (since a Chinese-Malaysian friend of mine was unable to make it) 100% Caucasian. This data may cause anguish in some quarters.

No problem for me. That's what Middle England - the England of Villages and leafy Suburbs - looks like, and it's our 'constituency'.

I can connect to people like these. Sure you can?

Get real, Intbel.

From your posts on this forum, you do not appear to me to be on any person's wavelength other than your own.

The fact that you are a key member of the C.D.A. suggests you have a different agenda from most UKIP members.

I suspect you are more anti-tory than pro-UKIP.

So far, I can see no way in which, judging from your behaviour, you have demonstrated in any manner how you are more of a benefit than a liability to UKIP.

Yes well that's no more that I would expect from you.

FYI I was a member of UKIP on the day it was founded, which I believe you were not. I founded CDA years later and if you would like to point out which of CDA's Tory-centred objectives conflict with those of UKIP I'll be glad to hear from you.

Unlike you, I don't place links here to my personal political sites . How many UKIP members do you suppose have anything in common with your barking mental terrorist organistation?

I am a traditional conservative and merely a rank-and-file member of UKIP, so I suppose I should be flattered by your estimate of my importance. I'm quite aware that much of what I post on this totally unofficial forum conflicts with your leftist anti-Christian nuttery but that's tough.

Maybe at your advanced age it's time you learned that you are not the only person entitled to an opinion.

Get over it, Intbel.

They claimed 400, but looking round the hall I would have thought closer to 350.

A very creditable effort, certainly.

The prevailing atmosphere was anti-PC, small-c conservative and upbeat.

The policies set out by Batten were exciting and forward-looking. My only reservation, shared by a couple of questioners, was that he seemed a little too hostile to the Scots as a people.

He also does tend to come over as rather humourless at times.

But I'm beginnng to think that the time for an English Pariament - elected by PR - is nigh.

Just think how well UKIP would do under PR.

Boring ...

How long you have been a member of UKIP matters not - what does matter is whether you are, to UKIP, an asset or a liability.

As for the CDA ... I have yet to find, let alone have sight of, its manifesto, so what its objectives are I know not.

I am aware of the opinions of some of its supporters and if those views are the colour of the CDA then the BNP folks would appear to be a nice bunch of folks in comparison.

But then I'll not judge a group by a minority of its supporters.
Its founder members' views I think, would possible be a reasonable representation of its stance on most matters.

And that is relevant to what?
There seem few of your posts in which you do not resort to personal criticisms and thinly veiled insults.

Nowhere have I suggested that you have any importance ... and the latter half of that paragraph is typical of your attempts to goad people into making comments against you which you might claim are damaging to your 'reputation'.

There you go again ... now its ageism. Give it a break.
