Returning to the original subject if that is alright...
I'm sure there must have been lots of photos taken on Saturday. As this forum now has image galleries I wonder if anyone would care to post their photos of the event here? Or link them from here? I also wonder if some of those present might summarise some of the speeches not already summarised such as those by Campbell-Bannerman, Lott, Bown & Bonici. Perhaps the entire event is worthy of fuller reporting beyond that Nigel is standing for the leadership & in Bromley & Chislehurst. And how did the main reason for buying the Sunday Telegraph - Christopher Booker - go down, was there any criticism of the UKIP leadership from him? |

Never mind. When your cunning plan succeeds I'll be so bowled over that my insane jealousy will vanish like a morning mist. Sadly, short of having photographic evidence to prove that Bob Neill is a member of the Mark Oaten tendency, I can't see this somehow. I learn that Neill is a keen opera-goer. He can't be all bad after all. |

This sounds a good idea, but what exactly did he have in mind? (If you can say here) |

Batten said that the zero net immigration policy didn't go far enough. He said that all mass immigration should stop altogether and that the only immigrants who should be permitted were people whose skills were specially needed by the nation.
If that policy were maintained, the population would soon begin to fall, relieving pressure on amenities and services. He was not suggesting BNP-style policies of repatriation, if that's what you're thinking. |

That sounds good, I agree with it. I don't agree with repatriation of law-abiding subjects, but quite frankly, I would deport those British Muslims who have enlisted to fight our troops and the Americans.

Ob Sat 3rd I asked if someone could give a summary of anything useful in the SE jamboree relevant to making UKIP electable, moulding UKIP to make an impact on the political scene, or the beginnings of a political business plan to reverse the steady decline in UKIP and take it forward. No one responded. Does this mean there was nothing of any real use in the jamboree ? - just the usual reiteration rhetoric & hot air ?. Surely there was something ? a crumb or 2 of imagination & vision ? Please dont say there was NOTHING.
