Of course it is! Jesus said that anyone who doesn't have a sword should buy one!

Furthermore, in the USA and Canada, most Christians will have a firearm.

I have mixed feelings and thoughts about firearms and the 'right to bear' thereof.

On the one hand, it must be a scary society in which one feels the need to carry a weapon of any description.

On the other hand, we are a defenceless nation - made so by laws introduced by our head monkeys and this can not be right.

The criminal element will ignore such laws so we end up with a situation in which only the criminals are armed.

The head monkeys' law enforcers may also be armed but that is no protection for we unarmed folks for they are galvanised into action only after the crime has been committed.

Knowing we are unarmed, those who would use firearms or knives against us, have no fears.

At least in America the villains know that any potential victim may be armed and that every householder may well have a firearm handy to repel intruders.

I am unable to come to any conclusion as to whether of not having the right to bear arms is adviseable for the UK population.

~~~~~
An aside:
In one way, the right to bear arms, in America, is not working, for that right was to enable the citizenry to overthrow a corrupt and despotic government.
That it is not working is demonstrated by the fact of America's government not being overthrown.
No, you just can't give an honest answer, Hartlepool. I do not believe for one second that you think it is right for Sikhs to carry ceremonial knives / swords, and illegal for anyone else.
You're also a hypocrite by mentioning the BNP. Your stance on same-sex couples is HARDLINE BNP.
Do you believe it is right that a non-Sikh be arrested and punished for carrying a ceremonial dagger/sword, while a Sikh cannot be?
Yes or No?
If someone is carrying a weapon without Lawfull permission, they would be breaking the Law.
If someone is carrying a weapon Lawfully,they would not be breaking the Law.
A really silly and juvenile question from you as usual Christina.
I do hope you understand the answer.
Do you think Sikhs should be exempted from the law regarding the carrying of knives?
